Corsa Apartments recently received the Minnesota Brownfields ReScape Award for Economic Impact – Large Project!

Minnesota Brownfields is a nonprofit organization focused on cleanup and reuse of contaminated sites. The Economic Impact award recognizes a project's “positive economic impacts involving creating or retaining permanent jobs, increasing the tax base, attracting private investment and/or are catalysts for neighborhood/community revitalization."

Corsa Apartments were completed in October 2023 in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. The site is adjacent to the Bass Lake Preserve and one block south of the Beltline Boulevard Station. It is a 250-unit transit-oriented building with sustainable green features and 7,445 square feet of retail space.

Residents will be a short walk from trendy restaurants and retailers as well as Wolfe Park with walking trails, an amphitheater, picnic shelters, playgrounds and basketball and pickleball courts. The Minneapolis Chain of Lakes are less than two miles east.

Building features include:
  • studio and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments
  • live-work units
  • 10% of the units are affordable to households earning 50% or less of the area's median income
  • fitness and yoga studios
  • rooftop lounge and pool deck with a hot tub, fire pits, cabanas and more
  • ground-level courtyard with pickle ball and bocce ball courts
  • private dog run and pet spa
Our multidisciplinary in-house expertise includes an experienced environmental risk management team with established proprietary environmental remediation strategies employed on projects across our organization. They were instrumental in coordinating regulatory, environmental remediation and brownfield grant funding for the project.
