The Opus Group® Completes Winchester Logistics Park in Canal Winchester, Ohio

The Opus Group announced today the completion of Winchester Logistics Park, a two-building speculative industrial development in Canal Winchester, Ohio, just 15 miles southeast of Columbus.

“Our team collaborated closely with the city of Canal Winchester to bring the first modern industrial project of its kind to this submarket,” said Douglas Swain, vice president and general manager at Opus. “The location is especially advantageous being within a growing community and labor pool that is experiencing increasing momentum across the industrial sector of real estate.”

Winchester Logistics Park features two buildings: a 258-000-square-foot mid-size building and a 556,000-square-foot, cross-docked building. The buildings include 32- and 36-foot clear heights, LED lighting, and plentiful trailer and auto parking. This ideal location provides tenants convenient access to major transportation routes such as U.S. Highway 33, Interstate 270 beltway and Interstate 70. The industrial development is also adjacent to numerous amenities, including a nearby shopping center and restaurants.

Kenco Logistics Group is the first tenant in the development and will occupy 197,465-square-feet of the 258,000-square-foot building, leaving approximately 61,000 square-feet available.

Opus was the developer, design-builder and architect and engineer of record on the project. First National Bank of Omaha provided financing for the project. Brian Marsh and Dan Wendorf of JLL are marketing the remaining available space for lease.
