LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Opus Group (Opus) announced today plans for a speculative warehouse and distribution facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The 426,450-square-foot building located in the River Ridge Commerce Center will be Opus’ first development in the Louisville market.

Situated on nearly 25 acres of land, the large size and flexible design of the industrial warehouse and distribution facility will be able to accommodate single-or multi-tenant occupancy. Conveniently located off of State Route 62, the site at River Ridge will provide tenants with easy access to the freeway system as well as increased access to the greater Louisville market with the upcoming completion of two new bridges spanning the Ohio River.
Other features of the warehouse include 32-foot clear height, 44 dock positions, more than 300 car parking spaces and 49 excess trailer parking spots. Additionally, with the nearby UPS Worldport Air Hub, tenants will have quick access to send products to virtually any location in the country overnight.
Construction on the development will begin this month with completion slated for November 2016. Opus’ recent portfolio of work includes more than 8.4 million square feet of industrial developments currently in its pipeline or completed in the past 24 months across the United States.
Opus Development Company, L.L.C. will be the developer, Opus Design Build, L.L.C. will be the design-builder and Opus AE Group, L.L.C. will be the architect and structural engineer of record. CBRE will market the property for lease.
