DENVER – The Opus Group (Opus) announced today the completion of construction on an approximately 85,000-square-foot build-to-suit industrial office flex and data center building for Charter Communications in Englewood, Colorado.
Located at the Compark Business Campus near C-470 and the I-25 Business Corridor, the facility is the eighth project Opus and previous Opus companies have developed in collaboration with Mike Vickers at the Compark Business Campus.

The facility features approximately 50,000 square feet of flexible office space, conference rooms and break areas, featuring 24-foot clear height and a mezzanine level. An approximately 25,000-square-foot state-of-the-art data center is home to Charter’s advanced engineering teams, large testing lab and resources from the product, IT, network operations and Care teams.
Moving forward, Opus Design Build, L.L.C. has been awarded a contract to partner with Charter as it completes tenant improvements on 10,000 square feet of white box space to accommodate its work in the booming data and communications industry, as well as construct an approximately 8,000-square-foot mezzanine level above the white box space. This work will be completed summer 2015.

Opus Development Company, L.L.C. was the developer, Opus Design Build, L.L.C. was the design-builder and Opus AE Group, L.L.C. was the architect of record and structural engineer of record for this project. Burkett Design and Cator, Ruma & Associates were the architect and engineer, respectively, for tenant improvements. Construction of the project began in January 2014.
