MINNEAPOLIS – The Opus Group (Opus) announced today the promotions of Matt Rauenhorst to vice president, real estate development, and of Phil Cattanach to director, real estate development, at Opus Development Company, L.L.C.

Matt Rauenhorst
Matt Rauenhorst has 11 years of experience in commercial real estate, joining Opus in 2008. In his new role, Rauenhorst will oversee new residential living and office development opportunities throughout the Midwest. His recent successes include student housing projects The Station on Washington and Venue at Dinkytown near the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and The Foundry near Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. Rauenhorst holds a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship from the University of St. Thomas and a Master of Business Administration in real estate and urban land economics from the University of Wisconsin.
Phil Cattanach
Phil Cattanach joined Opus in 2004. As director, Cattanach’s responsibilities will include speculative and build-to-suit developments across multiple sectors, including office, industrial and retail. With more than a decade of experience in the commercial real estate industry, he has played a key role in some of Opus’ largest retail developments and is currently leading the development of two master-planned business parks in Oakdale and Chaska, Minnesota. He is a graduate of West Point, where he received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and of the University of St. Thomas, where he received a Master of Business Administration.
