Excelsior Crossings - Building C is the final building that caps off the three building corporate campus for Cargill, Inc., strategically located at the northeast corner of US Highway 169 and Excelsior Boulevard in Hopkins, MN. This campus allowed Cargill to consolidate employees from 9 different suburban locations.
Excelsior Crossings - Building C is a 310,000-square-foot, seven-story plus lower level, Class A building located on a 31-acre redevelopment site. With sustainability being a important goal for The Opus Group and Cargill, this building achieved LEED-NC Gold Certification. This certification was achieved through the inclusion of natural day lighting on all floors with automated and daylight lighting controls, chemical free water treatment systems, low flow plumbing fixtures, and reflective roofing systems among other features.
Excelsior Crossings - Building C is connected to the rest of the campus by three-story link spaces, two of the levels are above ground while another level is below ground. A central courtyard with a pond feature and outdoor dining areas with walking paths connect to the Hennepin County bike and walking path system. |
