Fernwood Garage

239,000 sf parking ramp with 750 parking stalls to serve an existing office building of approximately 260,000 sf in Rock Spring Park, Bethesda, MD.  Space is also provided in the project for 15 bicycles and motorcycles.

 

The project consists of 5 levels of above grade parking and one level partially below grade, and utilizes a structural precast concrete double tee structure with architectural spandrel panels.  Access to all levels is provided by a hydraulic elevator and two enclosed glazed curtain wall clad stair towers.

 

Preliminary work on the site included extensive relocation of fiber optic line , and both public and private utilities serving office buildings in Rock Spring Park.
