Melrose Business Center II

This expansive 454,910-square-foot facility is a state-of-the-art Class A, industrial complex, located on the Northeast corner of North Avenue and 25th Avenue in Melrose Park, Illinois. This excellent location is only four miles south of OHare International Airport and 10 miles from downtown Chicago.

Opus redeveloped the site by demolishing an existing 930,000-square-foot Zenith Corporation manufacturing facility in preparation for building Melrose Business Center II.

The one-story precast building features a 30-foot clear ceiling height, an ESFR sprinkler system, and a single-ply, ballasted EPDM roof. Heating is designed with roof mounted Cambridge direct-fired, positive pressure industrial air heaters.

The premier office entry is enhanced by expansive glass and glazing. The site is extensively landscaped with a lawn irrigation system along North Avenue and at the roadway intersection.

Rail service can be provided with up to 440 car parking spaces. Up to 76 exterior docks and two drive-in doors can be constructed.

Major tenants include Design Pac, Bway Corporation and Public Storage.
