Nissan Parts Re-Distribution Center

The project involved development of a distribution facility on over 58 acres with a 20,000 square foot office area and over 717,000 total square feet.  The site was developed with a graded pad to deliver a total of 1,250,000 square feet when the building is fully expanded.

 

The lease execution occurred in April 2009, in the midst of a national economic and credit crisis.  Building construction commenced in June 2009 and was delievered in March 2010, prior to the required lease due date of April 1, 2010.

 

The building exterior consists of site-cast concrete tilt-wall panels with a single-ply, mechanically fastened, white thermal plastic membrane roof system with R-15 insulation.  The interior warehouse area lights are T-5 high output flourescent light fixtures with motion sensors and photoelectric controls.

 

A unique feature of the building is the four-sided dock door access, which allows maximum flexibility of use in shipping and recieving of product.  Other features of the facility include a minimum clear height of 32' feet in all storage bays, 93 truck dock doors, 3 drive in doors, 275 on-site trailer storage spaces, and controlled site access with fencing and guard booth.
