UnitedHealth Group, Phase I

The 9701 Data Park Drive facility is an extension of UnitedHealth Group's headquarters located in Minnetonka, MN directly North of the 6.5 acre project site.  The ten-story, 354,000 square-foot office building and adjacent 1,800 space parking structure comprise phase I of a two phase expansion of UnitedHealth Group's campus.

The building’s smooth limestone façade and unique window placement are intended to compliment the rusticated limestone and punched window exterior of the headquarters building.

The project is LEED Gold certified.  Sustainable design features include the building’s east-west orientation, high floor-to-floor heights, off-perimeter private office locations, and stepped lighting control systems that take advantage of available daylight to reduce electrical consumption.

An exterior patio adjacent to the cafeteria provides an outdoor dining and break area.  Sidewalks with covered arbors will connect the development to the wooded walkway and water feature adjacent to the existing headquarters building. First floor common area includes a fitness center, a cafeteria, convenience shop and a conference center.  A ten-story, centrally located stair open between the first two floors connects the office space and amenity areas.
