Opus' government work provides the nation with sustainable, high-quality facilities that improve productivity, revitalize communities and encourage environmental responsibility. Opus currently has more than 2 million square feet recently completed and under development for the GSA and other government agencies. These projects include the Department of Transportation and Environmental Protection Agency Region 8 Headquarters in Denver, the Social Security Administration Processing Center in Birmingham, Ala., and the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration Building in Riverdale Park, Md., as well as projects for the DOI, BIA, DEA, ATF and Homeland Security.


 Featured Projects

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The new LEED-Certified NOAA Center for Climate and Weather Prediction building will be located within M Square, a130-acre research park, adjacent to the University of Maryland in Riverdale, Maryland.
Mohave County Administration Building
This project was awarded through a design/build and development proposal process by the County of Mojave.
Birmingham Social Security Administration Center
This new building will replace the existing SSA facility and is expected to become a catalyst for growth in an important historic area virtually untouched by redevelopment.
Environmental Protection Agency Region 8 Headquarters
The approximate 292,000 square-foot office facility with separate retail components is located at the corner of 16th & Wynkoop in the historic neighborhood of Lower Downtown (LoDo) Denver.
