As manager of real estate development, Marty manages the execution of ongoing senior living and multifamily housing and mixed-use residential projects and sources new opportunities. Additionally, he pursues new industrial, office and retail projects in the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota markets and supports new business and development efforts. He works on site selection, site acquisition, partnership structuring, due diligence, government approvals, project financing and coordinates the efforts of the construction, design and development teams.

Marty has over 15 years of experience working with government and economic development agencies, where he researched legislation, managed economic development projects and analyzed multifamily development proposals. He has also underwritten proposed development projects, advised city council members on housing and community development programs. He is also a commissioner of the City of Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority.

Marty has a Master of Science in real estate from the Opus College of Business at University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Saint Xavier University. He serves on the Development Board for Neighborhood House and as commissioner on the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth. Marty is a member of NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association, Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute (CCIM) and Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR).
