Our interiors department works hand in hand from the project’s inception with our developers, architects, engineers and project managers. Working collaboratively is the beauty of our integrated method, and we value these relationships and know the outcome is improved with our team approach.
We take great pride in creating beautiful, functional spaces. Our experience runs the gamut – institutional, industrial, office, retail and residential. Our team provides a holistic approach, from programming exercises with our clients to space planning, branding, millwork and lighting design. We also focus on creating sustainable buildings, using design methods, finishes and natural day lighting that serve our clients and communities. For example:
- We conducted visioning sessions with our Kansas Leadership Center client to determine their goals for the building. We learned that “leadership is inherently risky and conflict should not be avoided, but rather addressed in the open.” We responded in a most intentional way, creating flexible training and meeting spaces surrounded by glass.
- We gave The Station on Washington its own unique personality, drawing inspiration from the location adjacent to the light rail line for its thematic transportation design. The graphic station map, reclaimed finishes and oversized wall murals bring the space to life, portraying the rail transit theme in classic and abstract form.
