As director of national business development, Christy builds relationships with clients, consultants and industry stakeholders across Opus' footprint, executing the organization’s business development strategy and goals. Christy focuses primarily on Client Direct Services, or construction projects in which Opus Design Build applies its unique Opus DB³™ model directly, working with outside developers, architects and end users. Opus DB³ takes design-build to the next level. Whether working directly with an owner or developer as the client, or engaging internal or external design resources, Opus DB³ effectively integrates all stakeholders—client, architect and builder—working as a single, multi-disciplinary team with meaningful collaboration that elevates the client's project delivery experience and delivers results.
Christy has over 20 years of commercial sales, marketing and business development experience and possesses an extensive network of industry relationships.
Christy is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Industry Research Committee; Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR); CoreNet; NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association; Minnesota Commercial Real Estate Women; Institute of Real Estate Management and Minnesota Shopping Center Association; and Medical Alley Association.
