Doug manages the engineering staff as well as assigned projects. His project responsibilities include schedules, scope, budgets and quality assurance and quality control. On the technical side, Doug has been responsible for the selection, analysis and design of project systems.

He has over 25 years of experience in the design of commercial, institutional, residential and industrial structures. Doug has worked on projects in multiple regions of the continental United States. His projects include office buildings, retail centers, residential buildings, hotels, schools, parking, warehouse, mixed-use buildings, pedestrian skyways and a municipal building.

Doug holds a Master of Civil Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota. He is a committee member and delegate of the National Council of Structural Engineers Associations and former president of the Minnesota Structural Engineers Association. Doug is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction, American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Welding Society.
