As Vice President & General Counsel of Opus Holding, L.L.C., Tom provides assistance, guidance and advice to The Opus Group associates and oversees the work of outside law firms with respect to matters dealing with real estate development, construction, architecture, finance, property management, general corporate matters and litigation.
Prior to joining Opus, Tom was a partner with Rider, Bennett, Egan & Arundel, LLP, where he practiced commercial real estate and business law as a member of the real estate practice group. Previous to that, Tom was vice president of a family-held commercial and residential real estate development company, where he was involved in all aspects of development, leasing, construction and property management.
Tom holds a Juris Doctor from the Willilam Mitchell College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Finance from the University of St. Thomas. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association, Hennepin County Bar Association and NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association.
