During JE Dunn’s plan review of the Mid America Heart Institute project for Saint Luke’s Health System, the project team noticed a curtain wall gasket system that would affect the sequence of work. Based on its initial analysis, the curtain wall would need to be installed before the brick veneer went up. This presented problems with temporarily protecting the glass and frames from the masonry work. To better understand the problem the team decided to model the areas of curtain wall adjacent to brick veneer.
