With a focus on Building Community where associates, live, work and play, the Opus Foundation recently wrapped up an Impact Fund grant cycle, awarding more than $640,000 to 18 nonprofits supporting youth development, early childhood education, workforce development and community revitalization.

St. Louis-based Youth Learning Center received a $33,500 grant to support the organization’s afterschool program, and Phoenix’s New Pathways for Youth received a $35,100 grant to support a curriculum redesign and development. Over the next week, Joe Downs, vice president of Opus Development Company, L.L.C., and Sean Cummings, senior director of Opus Development Company, L.L.C., will share more details about the programs and initiatives these organizations are hard at work on.

Additionally, the Opus Foundation awarded $191,000 in Opportunity Fund grants to nearly 50 organizations in the first half of the year. These grants range from $1,000 to $5,000 and are designed to provide a quick response to needs and opportunities in Opus communities.
