I am proud to announce that Mark Baird recently received the American Subcontractor Association of Colorado’s (ASAC) Project Manager of the Year award!
According to the ASA, the Project Manager of the Year “is a highly efficient and professional job manager who smoothly and skillfully coordinates and schedules the work efforts. His/her efforts ensure change orders and additional work orders are carried through correctly. The individual is an organized problem solver and makes sure paperwork is correct to assure the job runs smoothly.”
Mark was nominated for the award by Absolute Caulking and Waterproofing, Inc., an active member of the organization who has seen Mark’s work over the years. After the nomination, ASAC members voted on the nominees in the category, eventually selecting Mark.
“I’ve been fortunate to start many projects with Opus and see the process all the way through,” Mark said. “It’s an honor to be recognized for the work I’ve done and contributions I’ve made to many projects across the Denver market.”
Mark has been an asset to our team since joining Opus in 2006. Throughout his career, he has exemplified many characteristics of a successful project manager, coordinating projects like 1400 Wewatta; University Physicians, Inc.; Oneida Cold Storage and Verve Luxury Apartments.
- On 1400 Wewatta, Mark managed the design and construction of interiors, tenant improvements and condos. He was also acting LEED consultant on the project.
- Mark managed the construction of the parking garage and a tenant improvement on University Physicians, Inc.
- Currently, Mark is working to wrap up construction on Verve Luxury Apartments.
