MILWAUKEE – The Opus Group (Opus) today announced plans for a 155,844-square-foot speculative industrial project in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. The building will be the first in the Mount Pleasant Business Park. Construction is scheduled to begin this month.

Located off of Interstate 94, the site offers convenient access to a major transit corridor linking Milwaukee and Chicago, as well as prime freeway visibility. Additionally, the building will feature 32-foot clear height ceilings, 16 dock doors and 3 drive-in doors, parking stalls for 151 vehicles and an ESFR sprinkler system. The development can accommodate single or multi-tenant occupancy. Construction is slated for completion in summer 2016.
Opus’ recent portfolio of work includes 6.8 million square feet of industrial developments currently in its pipeline or completed in the past 20 months across the United States.
The building will be owned by a joint venture partnership between Opus Development Company, L.L.C. and Founders Properties, L.L.C. Opus Development Company, L.L.C. will be the developer. Opus Design Build, L.L.C. will be the design-builder and Opus AE Group, L.L.C. will be the architect and structural engineer of record. Barry Chavin and Curt Pitzen with NAI MLG Commercial will market the property for lease.
