The Opus Group® Awarded Build-to-Suit Lease for Community Power Corporation

DENVER, Colo. - ​Opus Development Corporation announced today that it has executed a lease to develop and construct a 50,400-square-foot build-to-suit industrial building for Community Power Corporation (CPC) in Englewood, Colo.

Located at the Compark Business Campus near C-470 and the I-25 Business Corridor, the single-story facility will include both office and warehouse space. This is the seventh building that Opus entities have developed in collaboration with Mike Vickers at Compark Business Campus.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Afognak Native Corporation, CPC is the leading developer and supplier of small, modular bioenergy gasification systems, which convert a variety of onsite residues and waste streams to onsite clean and green power, heat and cooling. This new facility will allow CPC to continue to expand upon its 17 year history in Colorado, and increase its BioMax® production for commercial enterprises, agricultural processors, government facilities, military bases and research institutions across the globe.

Construction started last week and the project is scheduled for completion in May 2013. Opus Design Build, L.L.C. will construct the facility and Ware-Malcolmb will serve as the project architect.
