In addition to building private student housing projects adjacent to university campuses, we have a long history of partnering with institutions to build on-campus housing. Students choosing to live on campus are looking for a lot of the amenities students living off campus are looking for, including suite-style units, building amenities and security.
Suite Style
Accustomed to their own rooms at home, many college students are looking to have some privacy even in their dorm rooms. Like off-campus student housing units, on-campus dorms are becoming increasingly private, offering two or more bedrooms per dorm, often with a communal space including a bathroom.
Building Amenities
On-campus amenities may not be as elaborate or luxurious as off campus, but students are often looking for cable, laundry and other amenities that make the room and/or building feel like home. Frequently, universities are providing these and other amenities in one, all-inclusive payment package.
Security
Focusing on security will always be a priority for students looking for a suitable place to live, especially if their parents are helping them look. Various security measures are put in place in campuses across the U.S. that provide the safety students and their parents are looking for.
