Employees Receive New Home in Home State
When Church & Dwight Co., Inc. sought to build its first corporate campus to consolidate employees working in four different buildings across New Jersey into one central location, Opus provided a solution that met all desired objectives.
Working against a non-negotiable project completion date, Opus brought together an integrated design-build team that worked to ensure the project was delivered on-time and on-budget. A 30-year veteran with deep experience in large-scale office space development managed the process from start to finish, collaborating with the Church & Dwight team every step of the way.
Located in Ewing, N.J., the new 250,000-square-foot corporate campus is home to more than 1,000 employees and features two Class A, energy-efficient office buildings connected by a three-story link.
Following the office space trend of collaborative work environments, the buildings feature:
a two-story open lobby,
a full-service cafeteria,
a training center,
state-of-the-art conference spaces and
an outdoor dining patio and central courtyard.
Opus designed and constructed the campus using sustainable construction practices and elements. Local materials were used for the precast concrete exterior wall panels, along with a combination of ribbon windows and a curtainwall to maximize daylight and views for employees.
