Opus Enters Bustling Louisville Market with Spec Industrial Development

​The Opus Group is continuing expand its reach, now entering the Louisville, Ky., market for the first time. Opus is developing a 426,450-square-foot spec-industrial warehouse on the outskirts of Louisville in the very active River Ridge Commerce Center in Jeffersonville, Ind. Industrial buildings in Louisville and the surrounding region have experienced significant growth in recent years, and it continues to gain momentum as additional businesses are attracted to the area – and to River Ridge Commerce Center. 

On nearly 25 acres of land and situated just off State Route 62, the location provides tenants with quick and easy freeway access. In addition, the planned completion of two new bridges spanning the Ohio River will provide tenants and their employees convenient access to the greater Louisville market. Another benefit is a nearby UPS Worldport Air Hub, enabling quick access for expedited shipping of goods virtually anywhere in the country overnight.

The large spec-industrial warehouse features a flexible design that will accommodate single or multi-tenant occupancy, including

  • 32-foot clear height,
  • 44 dock positions,
  • more than 300 car parking spaces and
  • 49 excess trailer parking spots.

The building is scheduled to be complete in November 2016.
