Responsibilities

Manages project pursuit, design, construction and activation to meet/exceed all project goals
Coordinates with field and safety teams to identify, plan and provide necessary resources
Organizes and manages project teams to ensure individual accountability and role clarity

Experience

Luke joined the industry in 2013 – the same year he joined us. His experience includes working in a variety of sectors, including multifamily, senior living, student living and industrial speculative warehouse and tenant improvements.

Luke recognizes that every day is unique and different and having the ability to be flexible as well as adapt quickly helps lead to successful outcomes.

An example of this was on Dash Downers Grove, a multifamily project in Downers Grove, Illinois, the team was approached with information, far along in the construction process, that the client desired walkout terraces for level three units. Luke collaborated with architecture, engineering and consultant team members to determine the best option, for both function and cost, to accommodate this request. With consideration to ensure the building could sustain the terraces, while also aligning with code and maintaining ADA requirements, through problem solving and dedicated teamwork, a solution was identified resulting in success for the project and client.

Leaning into his ability to work well under pressure, Luke faces challenges head on by maintaining a level head to evaluate options and make decisions quickly to avoid cost and/or schedule impacts through collaboration with his team.

As a Chicago Bears and Bulls fan, Luke enjoys cheering on his local teams while away from the office. He also likes to golf, hike, spend time outside, travel and try new restaurants, all of which he enjoys with his wife, young daughter and son and two dogs.
