As Director of Real Estate Development, Brett focuses on creating commercial development opportunities in the greater Chicagoland markets. He oversees all aspects of development, including site selection, site acquisition, partnership structuring, due diligence, government approvals, project financing and coordinates the efforts of the construction, design and development teams.
Brett began his real estate career in 2013 with NAI Hiffman in the Industrial Services Group. He provided acquisition, disposition and leasing solutions for owners and tenants of industrial properties. In his eight years with the company, he completed over 110 transactions totaling in excess of $500 million in transaction volume. In 2017, Brett was the recipient of AIRE’s Frank Mahoney Award, recognizing outstanding leadership, community service and brokerage success among young industrial real estate professionals. Prior to joining NAI Hiffman, Brett attended Miami University in Ohio and was a four-year letterman on the Men’s Varsity Golf Team.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Miami University and is a member of the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers, LINK Unlimited Scholars Mentor and NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate
