The Opus Group® Promotes Senior Executives Kelli Justesen and Kim Noonan

The Opus Group® (Opus) today announced the promotion of Kelli Justesen and Kim Noonan to newly-created executive leadership positions. Justesen was named chief human resources officer (CHRO) and Noonan chief brand experience officer (CBXO). Both report to Tim Murnane, president and chief executive officer of Opus Holding, L.L.C.

“The experiences we deliver internally and externally and the success of many of our enterprise-wide efforts are all rooted in a combination of both human resources and brand," Murnane said. “With these promotions, I'm pleased to elevate the work of both Kelli and Kim and the value they deliver across Opus, further leveraging their individual and collective expertise, skillsets and approaches."

Kelli Justesen, Chief Human Resources Officer

As CHRO, Justesen is responsible for leading and managing the strategies and efforts associated with attracting, developing, engaging and retaining industry-leading talent at Opus. As a member of the executive leadership team, she brings both human resources and strategic business perspectives to the table, leading and supporting organization-wide efforts focused on the Opus employee experience and culture.

“Kelli's promotion to CHRO is a reflection of her sustained top-notch performance, human resources expertise and dedication to Opus," Murnane said. “In her 11 years with Opus, Kelli has been instrumental in directing and redefining many of the processes, policies and tools to more fully empower our associates to maximize success in their roles and collectively as teammates."

For the past two years, Justesen has led Opus' pandemic response team and co-sponsored the company's diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. She also led the creation of the company's onboarding process and leadership development program, advanced succession planning and enhanced Opus' health, welfare and retirement savings plans.

Justesen joined Opus in 2011 and has served as vice president of human resources since 2016. She has more than 20 years of human resources experience, with over 19 of those years in the construction and real estate industry. She holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas, Opus College of Business, and a bachelor's degree in biology from Gustavus Adolphus College. She is also an HRCI-certified senior professional in human resources and a senior certified professional and member of the Society for Human Resources Management.

Kim Noonan, Chief Brand Experience Officer

As CBXO, Noonan leads and manages the strategy and execution of Opus' end-to-end brand experience through marketing, brand and communications, as well as enterprise strategy development. In addition to her functional expertise, Noonan brings broad-based business thinking to her role and as a member of the executive leadership team, contributing to and leading enterprise-wide efforts.

“Kim's vision and exceptional leadership and communication skills, combined with her expertise in marketing and branding, continue to be a driving force in shaping the future of Opus," Murnane said. “This promotion recognizes Kim's track record of performance, marketing and brand expertise and impactful organizational leadership."

Most recently, Noonan co-led the launch and implementation of Opus' DEI effort with Justesen. She also helped drive the company's pandemic response, developed the company's client journey and client insights program, created employer brand and peer recognition programs, expanded marketing and public relations efforts to support the brand, and co-founded the Opus Women's Network. Kim also serves on the Opus Foundation board of directors.

Noonan joined Opus in 2015 and has served as vice president, marketing and brand since 2016. She has more than 25 years of experience in business and marketing. Prior to joining Opus in 2015, Noonan held roles at Polaris Industries, Jostens and MoneyGram International. She earned a master's degree in business administration in marketing and a bachelor's degree in business administration, both from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.
