Construction of Gander Mountain’s new retail store in Algonquin, Ill., began in May 2014 and was complete in time for the store to open in early October 2014. This is one of three new retail facilities that Opus built for Gander Mountain this year.
Opus used a newer store concept for the 52,000-square-foot space which includes retail floor space, storage and offices for the store’s operations team. The open floor plan is organized in a circular path that allows customers to quickly and easily locate products and provides space for large outdoor goods and equipment on the floor.
