About the Artwork
This is the fourth in a series of Opus annual holiday greetings featuring community-created artwork. This year we're proud to feature artwork from Lattof YMCA. As a branch of the YMCA of Metro Chicago, the Lattof YMCA, located in Des Plaines, empowers people and communities to learn, grow and thrive though accessible programs, like their Greenhouse MakerLab. In support of Lattof's broader mission, the MakerLab is a hands-on environment that invites everyone who visits to learn, create and explore as artists, engineers, designers and more.
Several young participants from the Lattof YMCA's Greenhouse MakerLab lent their creativity (and their handprints!) to create the snowflake artwork on the front of this card. We thank them for sharing their artistic talents!
