Giving: Opus Foundation Awards Over $1.9 Million in Impact Fund Grants
Helping build communities and support efforts that make them better places to live, work and raise families, the Opus Foundation recently awarded over $1.9 million in grants to deserving nonprofit organizations across the country.
The Opus Foundation is committed to improving conditions that disproportionately affect historically underinvested people and communities by deploying capital across the key focus areas of early childhood education, youth development, workforce development and community revitalization.
Recently, the Foundation supported the following organizations with Impact Fund grants totaling $1,969,000. Impact Fund grants are awarded semi-annually and designed to support strategic investments through a competitive grant process to strengthen our communities.

- Dougherty Family College
- Freedom for Youth Ministries
- Girl Scouts River Valleys
- Heart Ministry Center

- MIGIZI
- Mile High Youth Corps
- Operation Breakthrough
- Project for Pride in Living
- Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Phoenix
- St. Mary's Early Childhood Center
- Summit Academy OIC
- Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity
- YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago
Additionally, over the last 6 months, the Foundation has also awarded $355,500 with 38 Opportunity Fund grants. Opportunity Fund grants are awarded monthly and are designed to provide a quick response to needs and opportunities in our communities.
