Experience

Alec started his career in the construction industry in 2016 before joining us in 2022. He first gained experience working for James G. DAVIS Construction and rand* construction. While capable in many sectors, Alec has specialized capabilities in cross-dock industrial warehouses as large as 622,000 square feet.

Alec prioritizes customer service and relationship building in his role and by doing so he has made great impacts to projects. While managing Sun Empire in Aurora, Colorado, he developed relationships with the City of Aurora building officials. In doing so, it allowed the team to navigate the permitting process with increased efficiency. In order for construction on the buildings to commence, the team needed to obtain building permits. Due to longer review times for full building permits, Alec accelerated the process to obtain foundation-only permits, which allowed his team to commence with construction on schedule.

Alec also led preconstruction meetings for Sun Empire. By doing so, the team was able to improve corner entry constructability prior to breaking ground. Furthermore, he worked to coordinate curtainwall glazing design with structural steel to ensure minimal visible exposed structural steel on the finished project.

When away from the office, Alec enjoys playing tennis, skiing and visiting national parks.
