Experience
Luke Eggers began his career in residential construction in 2014, began working in design-build in 2020 and joined Opus in 2023.
In addition to his strong work ethic, Luke’s critical thinking and problem-solving skills, vast set of construction materials knowledge and ability to quickly learn new product types have enabled him to rapidly bring value to his clients and the project teams he’s on. He sets a high bar for quality and demonstrates an ownership mindset, understanding and anticipating client needs to consistently exceed expectations.
GreenSlate Development chose us to design and construct the Storz Warehouse building in part due to our efficient design-build model. Luke contributed to that efficiency by taking the initiative to learn a new construction software tool to best suit the project and then trained his teammates on how to leverage the technology to support the client and project success.
Luke’s critical thinking skills and problem-solving capabilities made a significant impact in many aspects of the Greenslate project. For example, he recommended a unique approach paving the drive-in ramps, which not only mitigated multiple challenges on the jobsite but created an improved opportunity for the interior concrete pour while simultaneously saving cost.
Joining the Northridge speculative industrial project team mid-way through the project didn’t phase Luke one bit. He jumped right in and took the lead on the punch list and closeout efforts, ensuring they were completed with utmost accuracy and on time, as well as meticulously assembled all of the closeout documents to assemble an O&M manual to support owner success.
Outside of work, Luke enjoys the challenge of mechanical projects (think cars, dirt bikes, and 3D printing), as well as reading, gaming, and golfing.
