Develops overall financial strategy for the organization

Experience

Pete began his career in commercial real estate in 2003 and joined Opus in 2015. He brings significant industry experience in acquisitions, brokerage, investment management and development from a number of organizations including Target Corporation, Buchanan Street Partners and BT Commercial (acquired by Cushman & Wakefield).

Since joining Opus, Pete built and institutionalized Opus’ joint venture capital platform structuring and closing more than $3 billion in partnerships with capital partners, enabling the development of industrial, multifamily, student living and senior living projects across the country.

Pete is a member of the executive leadership team and contributes to the firm’s overall strategic direction, oversees accounting and finance related activities and leads the capital markets platform focusing on developing long-term capital relationships. Pete is well versed at identifying and analyzing opportunities that benefit all stakeholders. He’s a naturally collaborative, people-focused leader who prioritizes building and nurturing long-lasting relationships internally and externally.
