Opus Leverages Luxury Apartment Development Expertise in Bustling Chicago O’Hare Market
Commercial real estate in the greater Chicago area is hot, including the O'Hare International Airport market. To support the area's strong regional office, industrial and headquarters workforce, Opus developed and built a luxury mixed-use apartment building near the airport in Des Plaines, Ill.
The seven-story building has 113 apartment units featuring state-of-the-art, high-end amenities, including a fitness center, yoga studio, club room with demonstration kitchen, dog spa, resident and bike storage, outdoor amenity deck, work-from-home suite and conference room. There are two stories of parking and 1,349-square-feet of retail space at the street level. Units, ranging from alcoves to two-bedrooms with dens, feature top-of-the-line finishes, such as stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops. Covered and non-covered parking is also available to residents.
Residents enjoy an active live-work-play atmosphere with public transportation, entertainment, retail and groceries within walking distance of their home.
