The Opus Group® Breaks Ground on Speculative Industrial Buildings in Tempe, Arizona

The Opus Group today announced the start of construction on Warner Commerce Center, a two-building, 197,000-square-foot speculative industrial project in Tempe, Ariz. Located at 1320 West Warner Road, the new development is in a prime infill location with easy access to Interstate 10 and the 202 Freeway. The former site of an office building, the 18-acre site is now being redeveloped to meet the high demand for industrial space in the area. Warner Commerce Center is also in close proximity to many restaurants and retail stores.

“Opus is pleased to bring high-quality industrial development to Tempe," said Matt Visnansky, senior director of real estate development for Opus. “This is a unique opportunity to transition an office site in a prime location on Warner Road to modern industrial buildings, which will appeal to a variety of tenants."

The project features 40 rear-load dock doors, four drive-in doors, 64 dedicated trailer parking stalls, 392 vehicle parking stalls and 32-foot clear height. Capable of accommodating multiple tenants, the buildings will be suitable for warehouse distribution operations, last-mile delivery and manufacturing.

The buildings are slated for completion in March 2023. 

Opus is the developer, design-builder and architect, and structural engineer of record. Pat Harlan and Steve Larsen of JLL are marketing the building for lease.
