Opus Foundation® Supports NAIOP Indiana’s Fourth Annual University Challenge

6/10/2015

Now in its fourth year, NAIOP Indiana recently held its University Challenge. This competition allows future real estate leaders from Ball State University, Indiana University and Indiana State University to compete in a case competition.

This year, teams were asked to analyze two sites in downtown Indianapolis and consider a variety of realistic development considerations. The teams were judged based on their market analysis, asset management strategy, financial analysis, support for assumptions and conclusions, adequacy of their written report and effectiveness of their presentation.

After a tough competition, the Ball State University team took home the Wally F. Holladay Entrepreneurial Excellence Award and the $5000 scholarship from the Opus Foundation.

The Opus Foundation and our Indianapolis office have been involved in the University Challenge from the beginning.

The Opus Foundation is building community for a better tomorrow by supporting projects and programs that make our communities better places to live, work and raise families through grants to nonprofit organizations in the areas of early childhood education, youth development, workforce development, community revitalization and pressing/emerging needs.
