To support accelerating demands in the market, Opus is filling a gap for 30,000 – 80,000-square-foot industrial end users. Opus is currently developing a 205,000-square-foot speculative industrial facility in Olathe, Kan. that will include office and manufacturing areas, in addition to distribution and warehouse space.
This development marks the first phase of an Opus masterplanned industrial development for the site. Located on 53 acres of land, 56 Commerce Center can accommodate up to three buildings totaling 505,000 square feet. Situated in a prime location for businesses with distribution needs in the south Johnson County area, the Opus masterplanned development will provide convenient access to Interstate 35 and is near the BNSF Intermodal Facility in Edgerton, Kan.
This first building will provide tenants with a new option not common in the area – a rear-loaded modern office warehouse building that can accommodate multiple tenants. It will feature 32-foot clear height, a truck court and flexible modern industrial features to meet the needs of a variety of businesses. The site boundaries allow for extra parking or increased space if needed.
Completion of the first of three building is planned for January 2017.
