Experience
Ryan began his career with us in 2015 after joining the team as an intern in 2012. His portfolio includes over 1.3 million square feet of completed industrial and office projects. He has also contributed to the completion of 218 student living units encompassing 548 student living beds.
Ryan's ability to naturally collaborate allows him to create an environment where the input of all project team members is heard and valued, resulting in effective construction. His contribution on Euclid Beverage in North Aurora, IL, is an example.
With the intent of this building's expansion to be taller than the existing facility, the expansion design imposed a dilemma with adding snow load to the existing structure. Understanding this would add on a great cost for joist reinforcement along with the disruption to the client’s business operations, Ryan worked with his team that included members from the architecture and engineering group to strategize and develop a design for an intermediate roof structure between the existing building and main expansion space. The design was a success and is able to collect the snow and a significant portion of the building's roof drainage while allowing the client to have a two-sided automated racking system in lieu of the originally planned one-sided system. This doubled Euclid’s product picking capacity.
Ryan is an adaptable and committed team member, taking great pride in his work and ensuring all the needs of a project are met. Clients have experienced this first hand, with Euclid Beverage regarding him for their appreciation of his transparency, forward thinking and opportunity to communicate effectively with them well in advance, and avoiding obstacles.
In his free time, Ryan invests his time in playing sports, working on home renovations and kayaking.
