Answering the Call from Charter Communications

In 2013, we answered Charter Communications’ call for a new a research and development facility for their established local workforce in Englewood, CO, by turning what was to be a simple spec warehouse into a specialized build-to-suit that could grow with the company for years to come.

The initial facility, completed in October 2014, included a 26-foot clear height, 50,000 square feet of office space, a 25,000-square-foot climate-controlled data research and innovation lab, 10,000 square feet of unfinished space, a 4000A service, two 900kW generators and a 1MW UPS battery backup. But Charter’s growth quickly outpaced their projections, and we were soon back on-site renovating the facility; and then we were back again and again and again.
