Charter Communications

The first renovation phases were completed between 2015 and 2018 and included:

• building out the 10,000 square feet of unfinished data center space
• adding an 8,000-square-foot mezzanine with footings, stairs and elevators
• converting underutilized spaces into new labs
• building an environmental chamber
• adding a large outdoor covered patio
• expanding the parking lot
• adding more amps, generators and battery backups

The second renovation phases were completed between 2022 and 2025 and included:

• optimizing data center and lab functions and functionality
• expanding data center capability by adding server racks
• building a 5,000-square-foot electrical service and mechanical room
• converting underutilized space into new labs
• adding structural supports for future chilled water pumps and infrastructure
• adding more amps, generators and battery backups

Since we first built Charter Communications’ research and development facility in Englewood, we have added an additional 13,000 usable square feet and implemented significant modifications that have enabled the media distribution leader to grow in place.
