King Shan at Oakview Corporate Park

Located near their business partner, Weber-Stephen Products LLC, maker of Weber grills, the building was designed to store grill grates and includes a testing facility for product research and development.

Oakview Corporate Park provided the perfect balance of proximity to King Shan's business partners and unique landscape amenities, including views overlooking wetlands, forest preserves and a golf course.

By 2014, King Shan recognized a need to expand capacity for its production and distribution operations. Our design-build and architecture experts collaborated with King Shan on a solution to better serve its customers with a new 45,000-square-foot warehouse adjacent to their existing facility. The space includes 41,000 square feet of warehouse space with a 24-foot clear height and 4,000 square feet of office space.

By using our expertise in architectural design, structural engineering and design-build construction, we helped King Shan seamlessly connect its existing facility to the new space. A graded driveway between the two buildings and overhead doors allow for optimal function and efficiency.
