AmerisourceBergen at Valley Park Business Center

As part of a national expansion effort in 2015, leading pharmaceutical distributor AmerisourceBergen (now Cencora) hired us to design and build a 216,000-square-foot distribution facility within our Valley Park Business Center development in Shakopee, MN.

Due to the nature of AmerisourceBergen’s business, the facility was required to meet rigorous Food and Drug Administration and Drug Enforcement Administration standards. At the same time, the company needed the building operational in less than a year. This combination of strict federal oversight and a compressed timeline placed significant pressure on the project. Our team designed and constructed the facility concurrently as AmerisourceBergen made critical decisions in real time. Through close collaboration and the effective execution of our design-build approach, we successfully delivered the facility on schedule.
