Opus Addresses Demand for Industrial Space in Apple Valley, Minn.

With continued demand for industrial space in the Twin Cities, Opus developed, designed, and constructed Johnny Cake Business Center. Located in Apple Valley, Minn., this 111,820-square-foot speculative industrial building is one of very few industrial developments in the market.

Apple Valley is located about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Situated on just over eight acres, the building is conveniently located near I-35W and 494, as well as Cedar Ave/State Hwy 77. It's size and flexible design will accommodate multiple tenants' needs for manufacturing, warehousing and distribution operations.

Many ideal amenities are just blocks from Johnny Cake Business Center, including retail and big box stores, restaurants and parks. Additionally, Opus provided an easement for the North Creek Greenway regional trail system's future expansion.

The state-of-the-art building offers:
  • 28-foot clear height
  • 17 dock doors (expandable to 26)
  • 144 auto parking stalls (expandable to 204)

Johnny Cake Business Center was completed in December 2022. It is one of several recent Opus industrial projects in the Twin Cities market, including Nordeast Business Center, Sanctuary Business Center, Golden Triangle Corporate Center and Renewal by Andersen Value-Add Center.
