Opus Continues Growing Relationship with Andersen on Manufacturing, Warehouse & Office Facility
With a fast-growing business, Andersen Corporation’s Renewal by Andersen needed to expand their manufacturing, warehouse and office space in Cottage Grove, Minn., multiple times. Andersen chose Opus and its integrated design-build model to deliver two expansions to their facility. Opus was selected for this project due to their understanding of Andersen and past ability to execute expeditiously with the City of Cottage Grove (on North Star Sheets at Southeast Industrial Park).
The Value-Add Center helps Renewal by Andersen solve their growing need for storage and sequencing of manufacturing work.Expansion 1: 350,000 Square Feet
Completed in June 2020, the first phase freed up space in their original facility and allowed for line expansions. The office space includes an employee training and development center; more car and trailer parking are onsite.
This addition includes a mezzanine, 65 dock doors, 250 trailer parking stalls and around 13,000 square feet of office space. The second phase allows 300 workers to support the entire Value-Add Center.
With their expanded campus, Renewal by Andersen is able to provide more windows to more homes.
