Situated on the edge of the historic district in Savannah, Ga., The Helmsman is a boutique-style luxury apartment community near the
Savannah College of Art and Design. The 155,000-square-foot, five-story building has 104 apartments that can accommodate up to 283 residents total, helping to meet a need for student-centered housing in an area where demand has outpaced supply.
The Helmsman is located at 541 E. Broughton Street and is within walking distance to numerous restaurants, bars and entertainment venues as well as many SCAD facilities.
The pet-friendly building includes studios and one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments with private bathrooms for each bedroom. Every unit has contemporary finishes, quartz countertops, stainless-steel appliances, high-speed internet and cable and an in-unit washer and dryer. Select units have balconies.
