17th Annual Opus Cup Continued Tradition of Giving Back

8/18/2016

Now in its 17th year, the Opus Cup, the hockey game that pairs real estate brokers and Opus associates in a friendly rivalry, has raised more than $182,000 for local charities.

We recently presented checks from the Opus Foundation® and The Opus Group to Camp Fire Minnesota, NAIOP Minnesota’s charity partner, at a NAIOP MN program. Donations, totaling $14,785, included a $10,000 Opus Foundation grant and donations from players, corporate sponsorships and spectators.

This year, Team Jet, coached by Jim Jetland of Cushman & Wakefield/NorthMarq, took home the trophy again, bringing his total to 11 wins. Wade Lau, president of Founders Properties, coached Team Lau. Team Lau has six victories under its belt.
