Opus Foundation® Awards $1.2 Million in Grants

Committed to building community for a better tomorrow, in December the Opus Foundation awarded nearly $1.2 million to 15 impactful nonprofit organizations, supporting community revitalization, early childhood education, Future Builders, pressing/emerging needs, workforce development and youth development.

We'll profile three of the impactful organizations who received grants in this round, including:

  • YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago

  • Project for Pride in Living, Inc. (Minneapolis)
  • Society of St. Vincent de Paul (Phoenix)
  • St. Mary's Child Center (Indianapolis)
  • Upper Room (Kansas City)
  • Urban Boatbuilders, Inc. (Minneapolis)
  • YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago
  • YouthLink (Minneapolis)
From July to December, the Foundation awarded $151,000 with 28 opportunity fund grants. Opportunity fund grants are awarded monthly and are designed to provide a quick response to needs and opportunities in our communities.
