Recognition: BAE Systems’ New Facility Earns CREDA Award of Excellence

BAE Systems’ new 247,765-square-foot facility in Maple Grove, MN, has earned a CREDA Award of Excellence in the Industrial Build-to-Suit category.

We developed, designed and built the state-of-the-art facility to support BAE Systems’ Combat Mission Systems operations, bringing engineering, product development and office functions together in a highly collaborative environment. Designed with efficiency, sustainability and future growth in mind, the all-electric facility includes specialized engineering and prototyping spaces, a 3D Extended Reality simulation room and an 8,800-square-foot high bay equipped with three 30-ton overhead cranes. Notably, the facility supports BAE Systems’ sustainability goal to be carbon neutral across all operations by 2030.
