With a new year comes the anticipation of renewed industrial activity in Chicago. For Mike Yungerman, Executive Vice President & General Manager, that activity is likely to include a continued focus on infill opportunities. As Mike shared in an interview with the Illinois Real Estate Journal, demand for infill is consistently strong due to cost savings associated with proximity to transportation and labor. Alsip Park 294 and Merrillville Industrial are examples of two infill projects we’ve completed in the greater Chicago area and, as Mike noted, are reflective of the type of infill projects we’ll look to continue to pursue in the near-term.
