Opus’ Client Direct Services Builds Spec Industrial for Meritex

​Leveraging Opus DB3, their unique, truly-integrated design-build model and their extensive industrial expertise, Opus is designing and constructing a spec industrial building in Columbus, Ohio, for Meritex Company, a Minneapolis-based developer and owner of light industrial properties across the country. Meritex focuses on strategically expanding in key markets, ensuring that its properties and growth rates are commensurate with tenants’ needs and ambitions. Meritex currently has a portfolio of over 1.6 million square feet in the Columbus market.

A Client Direct Services project, this modern industrial building is located on 16.16 acres of land and designed for use by a single or multiple tenants, requiring between 50,000 and 250,000 square feet of space.

The building offers excellent visibility and accessibility near Alum Creek Drive and Spiegel Drive in Columbus and is just south of I-270 via Alum Creek Drive. Additionally, it has truck ports located on the rear side of the building and 32-foot clear height.

Opus and Meritex have a mutually beneficial, long-standing relationship. Having been engaged in the Columbus market for some time, this project further complements both companies’ portfolios.
