Opus Partners with Schneiderman’s Furniture on Third Retail Store in Twin Cities
Opus has transformed a vacant retail space into a modern retail showroom in Roseville, Minn., for
Schneiderman's Furniture. This was Opus' third project for the Minneapolis-based upscale furniture retailer.
Opus designed and reconstructed the 47,000-square-foot space, which is located in the Rosedale Commons retail center on Fairview Avenue North. It replaced Schneiderman's previous Roseville store a few blocks to the west.
The new Roseville showroom was thoughtfully designed to reflect Schneiderman's upscale brand with an expansive glass atrium featuring a glazed curtain wall and a grand staircase with glass railings and composite wood risers.
Schneiderman's chose Opus for the project due to past experience with our integrated design-build process, confident that the building would be delivered within a tight timeline of just four months from start to finish. Going into the project, Opus had a deep understanding of the Schneiderman's brand having designed and constructed the retailer's signature store in Lakeville and Coon Rapids.
Retrofitting an existing retail space allowed Schneiderman's to locate in the heart of a busy commercial center without the expense of razing a site.
The store was completed in May 2022.
